Nuts, mixed media, 2023.
Truck nuts are artifacts of US culture, mass-produced and sold as vehicle accessories. I mount them upside down on forms created with plaster, wax and cement.
These were displayed at the Baron Gallery in Oberlin, Ohio, as part of the Assembly exhibition.
This research began in 2018 with the creation of cement and plaster pieces, designed as garden ornaments.
