Línguas de Fogo (Tongues of Fire), 2024

Digital video. A queer Amazonian comedy-horror, shot in the Brazilian north in 2022. Available as a 69 mins feature film, or as a trilogy of 20 mins shorts.

The feature version premiered in 2024 at Ecrã Film Festival in Rio de Janeiro. The first part of the short trilogy, subtitled “The Last Documentary”, is unreleased, to premiere in 2025.

SYNOPSYS: Two missionaries travel through the forest searching for the last uncontacted tribe, at the mythical city of Ragatanga. Lost and disoriented, they face supernatural threats that put their faith to the ultimate test.
