Out Art, 2007-2011
A project dedicated to various forms of urban art presented in public spaces of Joinville, Brazil. Out Art had four editions, each dealing with a different medium: billboards in 2007, plastic bags in 2008, stickers & posters in 2009, and mixed-media intervention in 2011. All editions were funded by a Joinville Arts Council grant (SIMDEC), and presented by the Schwanke Museum of Contemporary Art.
The first edition, in 2007, featured original artworks by Brazilian artists Carlos Franzoi, Fábio Salun, Jacqueline Cunha, Juliano Jahn, Kadú Martins, Nilton Tirotti, Priscila dos Anjos, Renato Veiga, Ricardo Kolb and Rogério Negrão. Produced and curated in collaboration with Alena Marmo and Charles Narloch.
The 2008 edition featured works by Brazilian artists Daniel Rodrigues de Castro, Josias de Oliveira, Ricardo Ledoux, Coletivo Migrantes, Ricardo Kolb, Larissa Miiller, Thiago de Souza and Rogério Negrão. Produced and curated in collaboration with Alena Marmo and Fabiana Wielewicki.
The 2009 edition featured works by Alexsandro Alexandre, Cyntia Werner, Eugênio Siqueira, Ernani Filho, Larissa Muller & José Lemos Neto, Priscila dos Anjos, Renato Veiga, Irmãos Cabana and Viviane Baschirotto. Produced and curated in collaboration with Alena Marmo and Fernando Boppré.
The 2011 edition featured original artworks by Brazilian artists Bia Trinks, Cyntia Werner, Danilo Castro, Felipe Cesar Reis, Jan Oliveira, João Guilherme Ferreira, Mathias Takahashi, Mayara & Marcos, Neto Lemos and Tiago Cesar Hall. Produced and curated in collaboration with Alena Marmo and Nadja Lamas.
